Just like that, we’re back in the late 90s. You know the saying, "history repeats itself"? Well, here we are. EXCEPT we left the boxy fit behind and reinvented it with our own vision.

As you’ve come to know, Eight is synonymous with versatility, and this top is no exception—it’s the rule! But before we dive into experiencing this top in all its glory, let’s take a trip down memory lane.

The original concept for the tankini was groundbreaking. Much like the all-in-one shampoo/conditioner bottles, merging two things doesn’t always mean it works, depending on who you ask. Technically, it’s a two-piece—but not quite a bikini, not a one-piece swim. While the concept was functional, the execution was far from perfect. That’s when we saw the opportunity to bring back this design as something modern and cool.

Introducing the Mia top—the epitome of versatility, from fit to outfit styling. This bikini top offers a different kind of coverage; unlike traditional tankinis, the stomach isn’t fully covered. This design is meant to be a vibe, with edge and boundary-pushing style. Mirrored triangles hang down over the front, but those same triangles can be tied up to create a more traditional triangle fit, giving it a unique double-bikini look. Made entirely from mesh fabric, it’s perfect for flexibility and tanning. Thanks to the triple layer, it’s family-safe. The back features a minimal strappy design for fewer tan lines.

Tankinis are one of the biggest trends for swimwear in 2024. Wear it out and about on the beach or for a chic city look. The tankini top is making a major comeback, and we’re here for it!
